About the event

The inaugural King of Greystones Triathlon Challenge took place in August 2002 and was set up by a team of friends who lived in the Wicklow area to encourgage people to take part in a novel fundraising event. Since then, the event itself and the popularity of triathlons have evolved enormously.

Throughout the years the organising committee's goals were always to hold a fun and safe event and also to raise money for various charities. This year we are continuing to support the Sam McMahon Trust and are also pleased to be supporting the Bray Lakers which is a local charity which enable children and adults with an intellectual, physical disability, or both in North Wicklow and South Dublin.

The King of Greystones Tritahlon Challenge takes place in the small scenic town of Greystones. What better way to help your fitness goals by signing up for this challenge and at the same time raise funds for charities in a time where it is getting harder to gather support.
